Two Sides of the Same Coin

A Scanner Darkly (USA) 2006

Princess Raccoon (Japan) 2005

Drugs are bad. Love is good. "A Scanner Darkly" is Richard Linkleter's cautionary tale of the Philip K. Dick novel.

"Princess Raccoon" from Senjun Suzuki is the musical that he was finally allowed to make. Based mostly on a Japanese folk tale is part Shakespeare, part Hatfield and McCoy, part Bollywood musical. He threw everything into this. He gave us 4 different endings. Funny.
